Overview
This privacy policy describes how windrosegunpowder.com ("the site", "we") handles information when you visit. The site is a static community guide. We do not require accounts, we do not run user forums, and we do not collect personally identifying information beyond what is described below.
Information we collect
We collect aggregate analytics about page traffic, device class, country-level location, referrer, and the URLs you view. Google Analytics 4 (see the Analytics section) processes a truncated IP address and a client-side identifier to derive these aggregates; we do not export or join that data with any other personal information. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. Forms on the site send messages directly to our contact email; we do not store form submissions on the site itself.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies in the
_ga family to
distinguish unique sessions; details are in the Analytics
section below. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) also sets
short-lived security cookies to protect the site against abuse;
those cookies do not track you across sites. If we add
advertising in the future, third-party ad networks may set
their own cookies — we will update this policy before that
happens.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-N4YVHPTXLR) to
understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read,
which calculators are used, and which referrers send visitors.
GA4 sets first-party cookies (the
_ga and
_ga_* family) to
distinguish unique sessions and assigns each visit a
client-side identifier. We have enabled IP anonymisation on
the property, which truncates the visitor IP address before
Google stores it. We do not run any other tracking pixel and
we do not share GA data with advertising platforms.
We may additionally enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-respecting product that does not use cookies and does not fingerprint individual visitors. The Cloudflare snippet only loads when the site has been configured with a Cloudflare beacon token; otherwise it is omitted from the build entirely.
If you would like to opt out of Google Analytics on this site, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block third-party scripts in your browser. Email contact@windrosegunpowder.com if you would like a record associated with your client ID deleted from the property.
Advertising
At launch the site does not display third-party advertising. If we choose to enable Google AdSense or another advertising network in the future, those networks may serve cookies and use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. We will revise this policy and add a banner before any advertising goes live so returning visitors are notified.

Pages on this site may link to external services such as the publisher's storefront, fan wikis, or community discussion threads. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to. Read each destination site's own privacy policy before sharing information there.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally no personal record to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you believe a page on the site contains personal information about you that should be removed, contact us using the email below and we will review the request promptly.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted in a banner on the homepage.
